The Apple Iphone is one of the most competitive equipment in the market. The manufacturer of this handheld device invested million of dollars for enhancements of its features just to cope up with the very fast paced technology. Among all mobile devices,it is one of the in demand. With its amazing features, who wouldn't wish to have one? But you also have to think about the advantages and disadvantages. Its advanced features is proportionate to its price. So if you will shell out a lot of money for this gadget , you want to make sure that every cent is worth it. The Iphone by the way have two types. The 2G version (also known as first generation Iphone) which was launched June 2007 and the latest one which the 3G version launched July 2008. There is not much of a difference between the two. The only major enhancement is the 3G capability of the latest one.

> contacts can be copied from the sim to the Iphones memory but not from the phone to the sim card
> no video recording capabilty

Though the handset seems to have few limitation, Apple does not stop on doing software updates. From time to time they release software versions that will enhance the feature. The most updated version which is the Operating system 3.0 is heard to be released not later this year . It has been speculated that this version will address the limitations above and will add more features.
